CREATIVITY. COMMUNITY. ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE.

Become a Season Sponsor!

Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory (PVTC) creates community and inspires individuals to discover their unique passion through pursuit of excellence in theatre arts. We realize our mission through after school classes, outreach in schools, paid leadership opportunities for high school and college students, Main Stage productions, and special events. Our programs reach over 3,000 students, interns, artists, and audience members throughout the Peninsula annually.

As we rebuild from COVID-19, we face financial challenges that require us to rethink our funding model. We invite you to help us serve the community by becoming a season sponsor with PVTC!

PARTNERSHIPS

A commitment to I.D.E.A. in our arts community (inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility) PVTC seeks to instill values of inclusion, anti-racism, and anti-ableism across all programs and experiences.

A platform to practice self-care through creativity
In this era of mental health crises, PVTC strives to provide tools and spaces for individuals to learn about themselves, their limits, their needs, and to gain tools to navigate a confusing and tough world.

Neurodiverse interns as Teaching Assistants through our partnership with Willow Commons Neurodiverse young adults work alongside teaching artists in the classroom.

Whether plays, musicals or devised works, participants of all ages take on meaningful roles in every aspect of production (onstage and off). Through these collaborations, participants build confidence, community, and artistry. MainStage and summer camp productions strive for artistic excellence while focusing on stories of hope, joy, and transformation that require artists and audience members alike to grapple with deep questions about humanity while laughing along the way.

OUR NEED

The true cost of all these programs that teach empathy, leadership, and creative problem-solving in a supportive and collaborative environment should be about $1.5 million annually, but PVTC survives on a scant $500k. Help us become a thriving and sustainable home as we continue to recover from the devastating COVID-19 pandemic..
