Sensory Friendly

During indoor access previews, house lights remain at 50% throughout the performance so there is always ambient light in the room. Additionally, we modify lighting and sound cues so there won’t be any sudden changes in lighting or surprising sound effects. We welcome reactions of all kinds during the performance.

Quiet Room

PVTC offers a quiet room complete with fidgets, headphones, and other sensory tools that participants can visit if they need a break from the performance.

Social Stories & Staff Guides

PVTC will provide social stories prior to the show as well as staff guides on the day of our performance to help participants feel welcome and prepared for the show.

Would your student benefit from an accommodation not currently listed above? We encourage you to reach out to the PVTC team — we are committed to creating an artistic home for every student on our campus and we’d be thrilled to collaborate with you to make that happen!
