Summer camp at pvtc!
Dear PVTC Community,
Get ready for another unforgettable summer at PVTC!
In all of our camps this year, we’ll focus on a crucial aspect of theatre: the audience. Join us to explore—and break down—the barriers between performers and spectators. Imagine dancing through the aisles, inviting audience members onstage, and even creating puzzles for them to solve! In age-appropriate ways, we’ll think about how to write and stage performances tailored for specific audiences, discuss the unwritten rules of audience participation, and explore the topic of the audience through an equity lens.
We’re offering four camps this summer for students entering Kindergarten through recently graduated high school seniors:
Musical Theatre Performance Camp
Entering 1st Grade - Entering 8th Grade
June 16, 2025 - July 12, 2025 (NO CAMP June 19 or July 4), 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

No Performance, families are invited to join on Friday afternoon from 11:30 - 12:00!
It’s a PVTC tradition to see if you can guess the titles of our summer camp productions with just one clue for every day of the week! Since we’re only producing two shows this summer with established titles—our devising campers will create their own show and our creative drama campers will dive into an extended week-long improvisation—we’ll only be sharing clues for our 1st-8th grade and 9th-12th grade musical theatre performance camps.
Here’s our first clue: Both of our summer camp musicals are set over one hundred years ago…

January 17th: Our summer 2025 productions are announced! Internship applications open!
January 21st: Pre-registration opens for returning families
January 27th: Registration opens to the general public
