Calling all Theatre Artists!

YOU are invited to a Lighting Workshop on Dec. 5th at PVTC! Brought to you by popular request, Lighting Designer Chris Gregory is BACK for a weekend of design and training.

December 5th 10am-4pm Open to both high school & and middle school students, this workshop will focus on execution, going from design to reality! In this second session, we will learn how to hang and focus lights, talk about cabling, Digital Multiplex (DMX, a communication protocol), focusing lights, and some lighting console programming!

This workshop is directed towards students with ALL levels of experience, starting from the most frequently used skills, but also delving deeper into color theory, differing design tactics, and programing. Come prepared to design, to be the subject of designs, to learn, to light, and to have a whole lot of fun

Please bring:

  • A sack lunch

  • A wrench if you have one

  • Arrive in closed toe shoes and clothes you can move around in easily

(High school students are invited to join us for an additional workshop on on Saturday, December 4th. Students attending both workshops will receive a $50 discount by using the code "Light" at checkout)
