FALL WORKSHOPS AT PVTC

UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY WITH SAFE, IN-PERSON, THEATRICAL OPPORTUNITIES

This fall, PVTC is pleased to offer a selection of in-person workshops that explore various theatrical disciplines. There is something for everyone!

COVID Precautions -The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. PVTC is taking measures to help keep everyone that participates in our programming safe including:

  • wearing masks while on campus regardless of vaccination status

  • having all participants fill out a health check form prior to attending a workshop

  • conducting touchless temperature checks upon arrival, (individuals with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to attend workshops that day)

  • practicing social distancing 

Campus Location - Classes will be held on campus at 945 Portola Road in Portola Valley.

Adult Improv Night

Nov. 5th from 5:30-7:30pm

Ages 16+

This improv workshop will keep you on your toes and thinking fast--and it is sure to make you laugh. No experience? No problem

Teen Dance Workshops

Do you ever dance around your room for fun? Have you ever tried to tell a story without speaking? Learn to express both your creativity and yourself through movement!

Wreath Workshop

Nov. 29th from 7:30-9pm

Teens + Adults

Come and learn how to make a beautiful lush winter greenery wreath that looks attractive and smells divine! Invite your friends and join Fiona Ryan of Bloom floral design as we celebrate the season with this fun and social holiday craft project.

Friends & Family Improv Night

Dec. 3rd from 4:30-6pm

Ages 4 through 104!

Lighting Design & Theory Intensive

Dec. 4th from 10am-4pm

Grades 9th-12th

Focus on the design aspects of lighting. We’ll discuss Design elements, motivation, techniques, color, movement, and programming.

Lighting Intensive

Dec. 5th from 10am-4pm

Grades 6th-12th

Learn how to hang & focus theatrical lights as well as how to program on a lighting console!
