A Message from PVTC

At this point, performances of Spring Awakening have been postponed due to COVID-19. However, we are still hopeful that we will be able to perform this beautiful and moving musical later in 2020 before our amazing seniors leave for college.

In the meantime, the cast continues to rehearse via videoconference. We are working on character development, individual vocal parts, choreography review, and scene study. Our dedicated scenic designer, Fred Eiras, has continued to build our set while social distancing (check it out below!), and we are hopeful we can perform on his beautiful set.

Although we do not know when or where will will perform the show, we are making a variety of contingency plans. It might continue as a co-production with Dragon Theatre in Redwood City, it might happen at PVTC, it might happen at both locations, or we may present it in some new medium that hasn’t yet come to light. We will keep our community informed as we have updates.
