Screenwriting with Bravemaker

Join us for a screenwriting experience for students to learn the art and craft of screenwriting and storytelling. Each student will spend six weeks developing a concept and writing a short film.
Students may also opt to take part in a second class in Winter/Spring 2024, in which one of the scripts will be chosen to produce. In that second class, students will either take on roles as actors or crew, and will together workshop the script and then over the course of a weekend will be paired with working filmmaker professionals in the Bay Area to make the film.
The final product from the class will be edited by professionals and will premiere in BraveMaker’s summer film festival.
What is BraveMaker?
BraveMaker is a local Bay Area organization that curates and creates original films and video content, producing film events and host guided discussions with powerful, authentic storytelling to elevate brave voices and effect change. PVTC is so excited to be partnering with this wonderful organization!
Refund Policies
1) TUITION: Payment is due at the time of registration. Tuition can be processed by credit card, check, or cash. $25 non refundable. No refunds after the first day of class. Please contact the PVTC office at info@pvtc-ca.org to discuss further.
2) REFUNDS: $25 is non-refundable after registration. There are no refunds outside of the ADD/DROP period. Please see summer camp registration for detailed information about our summer camp refund policy.
