Spring 2014 Themes

Springtime is often a stressful time for students, with STAR testing and end of school projects. We like to use spring to continue to teach important theatre skills to students, but also to give them a place to play and relax. To that end, we have chosen the theme of Fractured Fairy Tales for our spring theme.

We are going to have so much fun turning stories we have known for years on their sides, upside down, and on their ears. Each student will have the chance to play a colorful character who may seem like someone you’ve met in a story before, but is actually a very different character.

STAGES students will have a chance not only to explore these familiar stories in new light, but also to create an original set on which our final performances will take place. Please let us know if you have any questions.
