Private Lessons
Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory (PVTC) Private Acting Lessons are created with each student in mind. Teaching Artists create lesson plans and tailor acting techniques to build on that particular actor’s talents, to challenge the student, and bring the actor to a deeper understanding of technique, choice, and preparation. Private lessons can also help prepare students for professional auditions, college auditions, and school play auditions. Private Acting lessons are a unique and wonderful way to help a young actor focus on skill-building in a one-on-one setting.

RATE:
$60/hr for a 1 hr lesson
MORE ABOUT PRIVATE LESSONS:
Most students are scheduled on a regular basis 2-4 times per month. They pay for their month of lessons at the beginning of each month, in order to secure their time slots. Scheduling lessons a la carte is also an option. Invoices will be sent via PVTC’s enrollment software and payments can either be made by credit card, check (payable to: Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory), or cash. Families must must pay for all of the lessons for the month (whether it is 2 lessons, 4 lessons, or more) by the first lesson of each month.
If a family needs to cancel a lesson, they must do so at least 24 hours prior to the lesson, in order to not be charged for the lesson. If a student misses a lesson, rescheduling may be accommodated at the discretion of the teaching artist.
