SUMMER 2021 OPENINGS
Interested parties should submit a cover letter and resume to PVTC. The letter should outline how their goals as artist align with PVTC’s philosophy, state their area(s) of interest for staff positions, and illuminate relevant experience listed on their resume. Letters and resumes should be submitted to .
PVTC’s program designer will work with a variety of teams to craft a special program for each camp show. The program will include cast lists, synopsis, bios, photos from camp, dramaturgy notes, descriptions of rotations, and more.
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL SETS: The ideal candidate has experience in creating visually interesting collateral with an eye for layout, color, and design. Candidates should be strong collaborators, enjoy mentoring high school interns, and be excellent communicators. PVTC uses Google Drive, Zoom, Slack, and Dropbox for all camps. We often use Lucidpress for program design so the project can be collaborative.
Part-time prep period (March through June 14):$200/show
Camp period (6 hours/week June 14-August 6): $100-150/week
OPENINGS FOR 2021
Programs for nine camp projects between June 14-August 6, 2021
PREP SEASON (PART-TIME MARCH THROUGH MID-JUNE)
Attend 5 all-staff meetings and trainings
Attend one brainstorm meeting with the creative team of each camp to design the program look
Create preliminary concepts and flexible layouts for each camp
DURING CAMP (PART-TIME DURING THE SUMMER CAMP SESSION)
Collaborate with staff and interns across all departments to gather program content
Provide a draft of the program at least 3 days before each show for proofreading and feedback
Provide a final draft of the program at least 2 days before the show for final review
Provide a final draft of the program at least 1 day before the show for distribution
