Teaching Artist Elizabeth Berg
In this virtual course, students will learn about the impact of style upon performance and then dive into three distinct theatrical styles: puppetry, radio drama, and pantomime. We will learn about and watch examples of each style, practice specific techniques, and then apply those techniques to scenes and other short performances. Students will come away with a broader knowledge of theatre and a set of acting skills that can carry over to any type of performance. They will also have the opportunity to build a custom puppet in class.
