Stage Makeup Special Effects: Stepping through the Creation Process

Wednesdays | 4:40-5:40pm

Grades 4th-8th

Teaching Artist Lindsay Saier

Tuition $225 + supply fee

Ever question what goes into creating a special effect moment you’ve seen performed on the stage or screen? Looking to learn some hands-on makeup skills? During the spring makeup course we will use old school techniques, used to dazzle audiences throughout history. Each week we will get our hands a little bit dirty as we build on the skills we learned from the week before. We will work on a few different prosthetics over the course ending with a functioning live effect.
