Maddie grew up in PVTC’s intern program and she’s thrilled to return this year as a PVTC staff member and director for the CMS musical. She graduated from Northwestern University where she studied Theatre and Cognitive Science with focuses in new play development and theatre education. At Northwestern, she served on the board of Seesaw Theatre, an organization that creates original theatre for audiences with cognitive disabilities. Maddie spent the last year as the Literary/Dramaturgy Fellow at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, supporting new work across the season and with The Ground Floor: Berkeley Rep’s Center for the Creation and Development of New Work. After working with PVTC’s summer camp program for the past 9 years, including 5 as a teaching artist and director, Maddie cannot wait for a year of working and playing with some of her favorite educators and students!

Ms. Green has been teaching music and theater in the Portola Valley School District for the past 28 years. Outside of school, she has taught at Jazz Camp West, the Stanford Jazz Workshop and the Jazzschool in Berkeley, and has been the vocal director for Woodside High School's last two musicals. She has recently performed with Palo Alto Players, Hillbarn Theater, Los Altos Stage Company, and has been on stage at PVTC in many productions including The Little MermaidPersephone, Distracted, The Laramie Project, and Quilters.

Samantha had the opportunity to play a Mersister in Woodside High School's production of The Little Mermaid in 2016 and she loves the show! She has also performed with a number of Bay Area theaters including Woodside Community Theatre, Hillbarn Theatre, Woodside High School, Bay Area eTc, Broadway By The Bay, and TheatreWorks. Some favorite past shows include Urinetown (Hope), Mamma Mia (Lisa), and Beauty and the Beast (Belle). Samatha is performing with PVTC for the first time in the upcoming production of Spring Awakening (Ilse). Samantha is excited to be working with the CMS students on The Little Mermaid JR!

Noëlle is thrilled to be partnering with Corte Madera School on The Little Mermaid JR, after having worked on both Almost History and Shrek JR the past two years. Noëlle has been teaching and directing at PVTC for over a decade and enjoys the creativity, enthusiasm, and relentless energy of Portola Valley students. In addition to her work with PVTC, Noëlle has directed at local Bay Area theatres and worked in the artistic/literary departments at major regional theatres. She holds BAs in Theatre & Dance from UC San Diego.

Stacie has been part of the PVTC team since 2011. She received a B.A. in Theatre from UC San Diego and worked as a Theatre Manager for four years in Southern California. She thoroughly enjoyed working with students and parents from CMS for the past two years on both Almost History and Shrek JR. Stacie has produced and stage managed numerous Children's Conservatory and MainStage productions at PVTC, and has worked with a number of non profit arts organizations as a stage manger around the Bay Area and in San Diego.

Fred has returned to the Bay Area after 13 years in Kentucky. He enjoyed his experience working with the Corte Madera crew students and designing the set for last year's production of Almost History. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, attending school at Riordan High School and San Francisco State University, Fred has been actively involved in educational, community, and professional theatre on and off the stage for 45 years. Fred currently is currently the Technical Director of Performing Arts at Sacred Heart Atherton as well as the Resident Set Designer and Builder for Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory. Fred is a set designer, scenic artist, master carpenter, prop builder, actor, singer, stage manager and director. Fred has worked with numerous schools and theatre companies including, Broadway By the Bay, Hillbarn Theatre, Peninsula Center Stage, Bread Alone Theatre, Palo Alto Players, Busbarn Stage Company, Los Altos Youth Theatre, Bay Area Educational Theatre, Pied Piper Players, Back Alley Musicals, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, Daviess County High School, Audubon Elementary, Madisonville Community Theatre, Peninsula Musical Theatre, Cappuccino Community Theatre, Aragon High School, Carlmont High School and Tri Schools Productions to name a few. Fred also has taught and still teaches several technical theatre classes in the Bay Area as well as the Kentucky Daviess County Region. Fred has a passion for theatre and wants to instill his love for his craft into children and students, to keep his love for the theatre alive and help it spread. Fred’s Motto:  All the worlds a stage, but someone has got to build it first!

Chris returns again to PVTC, the birthplace of his own Theatrical passion, to light the stage and ignite the passion for lighting in others! Although Chris has spent significant time working in all areas of theatre, including acting and directing, lighting remains his greatest passion! Chris began working with PVTC in the Summer of 2019 and is thrilled to still be able to work with students in Lane Hall. Chris earned a Theatre degree at Bucknell University, along with a B.A. in French and Animal Behavior and is currently pursuing a career in medicine, applying to medical school in this next cycle. He teaches CPR and EMT classes on the East Bay at the Bay Area Training Academy, and is involved with several other theatres in the Bay Area. Chris most enjoys lighting musicals and dance!
